What is HTML: HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language which is used to create Web pages but it also enhances support for creating a web-based application that can interact with user and servers more effectively than previously possible.

HTML is the backbone. Basically, it is used to create the structure of your website that is according to the user requirements. All other Web programming languages are embedded into HTML. First HTML version was developed by banners-Lee in 1990. HTML 4.0 was defined in 1999.HTML (5.0) is basically a new version of HTML (4.0). It has all the possibilities to make a dynamic web page or Dynamic Websites.

How does HTML work?

HTML code write in Text Editor (like Notepad++, sublime, etc).But Notepad++ is best for the beginner. Then HTML file is saved with HTML extension. These browsers read the file and translate the text file into a visible form. Then viewed through Browser (Chrome, Safari, Mozilla, etc). But I am using chrome browser so download chrome browser. In the next lectures, we will discuss all these lecture steps by step.
